The Italian Association for the Teaching of Physics (Associazione per l’Insegnamento della Fisica – AIF) proudly presents the European Olympiad of Experimental Science Italy (EOES Italy) – a vibrant initiative connected to the prestigious European EOES competition.

Our mission is clear: to ignite curiosity and passion for science through an experimental, hands-on approach to learning. With the EOES Italy Project, secondary school teachers and students come together to explore, test, and innovate in the laboratory, transforming scientific theory into real-world experience.

This workshop consists of a hands-on physics activity on “wedges and capillary tubes”, which is inspired by the physics experimental task carried out in December 2025 in school laboratories by Italian students who participated in the “EOES Italy” competition.
